Ricoh Pro C900

ProC900
The Ricoh Pro C900 comes standard with the industry-leading EFI Fiery print server and its Command WorkStation interface to provide customers with a proven front end that ensures efficient file preparation and job make-ready. With the optional EFI Digital StoreFront, your customers can provide their clients with a web-enabled sales, order entry and job submission tool that streamlines the entire process. Ricoh also provides best-in-class workflow solutions from world-class partners to address each and every step in the production printing workflow.
Application & Environment
The Ricoh Pro C900 is the ideal POD system. Production-level printing requires a lot more than four-color output. The ability to print on heavy stocks—without any loss in productivity—is essential, as is the ability to finish each application with little or no manual intervention.

Operator Display Panel

The Ricoh Pro C900 comes with a 10.4" color LCD touch panel. It is designed to work seamlessly with the Fiery controller and provides the operator with real-time status reports on the system. Especially helpful is the warning light on the top, which blinks any time the system suffers a malfunction such as a paper jam.

Direct PDF Documentation

An ever-increasing number of jobs are now being submitted to your customers as PDF files. This utility enables operators to import multiple PDFs, insert PDFs from the server job list or any folder on the network, or just drag and drop PDFs within Compose to create the desired final document. This capability makes it possible for your customers to easily combine new content with existing and legacy documents.

Color Editor

Total control over color. While the Ricoh Pro C900 isn’t intended to mimic a printing press, it can reproduce a wide range of colors and the Color Editor gives them a way to match as many colors as the system is capable of achieving.

Spot On

This utility enables printers to match custom colors and other “spot” colors that are often used for company logos. It enables operators to maintain a database of named colors, including PANTONE Matching System colors, in PDF and PostScript documents. Users can create and/or rename colors and specify them in CMYK values.
